About Us
The Cherokee Rose Jewelry Shop was a longtime dream of mine. Thanks to the support of my husband my dream has become a reality. We opened the shop on November 2, 2023. I am the jeweler and designer, an Indigenous woman from the Cherokee Tribe of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
I studied watch and jewelry manufacturing in 1974 at Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. I took a break from this career and went into the space industry for 32 years. I take great pride in pleasing and helping people.
My shop moto is:
Those who come as Acquaintances I hope Leave as Friends
All handmade jewelry is one of a kind, my jewelry will not be duplicated with exception of the owner’s request.
I also provide watch battery replacement, and minor jewelry repair.
Offered are both handmade and manufactured jewelry in costume and gemstone pieces. You will find unique pieces and colors for any outfit or even those special nights going out on the town.
I take immense pride in my Native heritage and am currently learning the traditional native beading techniques while making pieces as I learn.
I now offer Home Jewelry Parties to anyone wanting to host a party in their home and invite their friends. The Host will be offered a piece of jewelry of their choice for up to $50.00. If interested call me and we will schedule the date and you may even help to select the jewelry shown.
